Author Elizabeth Kauffman has a beautifully descriptive style. Simple language but far from a simple story... this book (and sequels in the series) represent great adventures and "fantasy get aways" for young and old alike.

I loved Elizabeth's book,it is one of my favorite books. I especially like it when Tener falls into danger (again) to Skamkel. I have reccomended it to all my freinds, read it to my sister and had the most wonderful experience reading it. She even inspired me to write my own book and I'm only in the seventh grade.
