Wow it got so good this book.I can't beloved the drama inside of this one.It was short but so good.I loved the relationship Alonzo and Kaylen has they were so cute together.Im so glad she was outta a relationship with Quincy's dumb ass.But dang I wasn't expecting that to happen at the club.I feel sorry for Prancer because she really did care for Quincy and he was a dog to her.Then Monroe was dumber then I thought she should have know better then to trust him.I felt bad for Kaylen wen she was trying to be real with Alonzo I can't believe he did wat he did to Kaylen.Im so glad Ice came into the pic and was there for Kaylen.Dang Donte and Jared wasn't playing at all.I loved the way the book ended I can't wait to see if there will be a part threeProduct details

I started off enjoying it but it just went totally to the let. Why bring Q back but not finish his story. Like what happened when Monroe's ran out of the house away from Q? What happened after Q beat Prancer? Why all of a sudden would Alonso just go off the deep end and want to kill Kaylen and her grandmother? These parts just did didn't make sense. Alonso and Kaylen were the perfect couple and then at the very end bam. Feels like it was a rush to end it may me there shouldn't have been a part 2.
I'm shocked. I didn't expect things to play out how they did. I thought Kaylen and Alonzo would last, but I guess there were other plans. Alonzo was low key crazy and his true colors definitely came out towards the end. I felt how Kaylen felt. Maybe his feelings weren't what she thought they were because he gave up without a fight. He couldn't expect her not to still have some type of feelings for her ex. They don't go away that easy no matter what. Q should have got his life together a long time ago. His father had his mind so corrupted and because of it I don't think he still ever change his ways. I loved how protective Jared and Donte are of their little sister! They played no games. Ice seemed like a very good dude, but because of the past he may not get that chance! This was definitely a good read!!
Amazing book
This author never ceases to amaze me. Q never had a chance, he was messed up from the beginning. Alonzo was not what I expected and neither was the ending. I hope to see more of Kaylen and her new love interest.
Shantay is the queen of curve balls. I enjoyed every part of it even though this low key broke my heart only because I wasn't expecting it to go the way it did. can't wait til part 3
Good good but not great. Too much time spent describing the characters day to day life and not enough time is spent going into the good storylines like Q'S past, Kay's obsession with scamming, and her relationship with Alonzo. Kays character doesn't grow or evolve. As for Alonzo seems like a waste of a good man whose been loyal to her and her brothers.
This was a serious twisted in this book. I did enjoyed it. Only think that was confusing was in one of the chapters it was he said she said where it was an error and I had to reread it to understand where Shantay was getting at but over all this was a good book.
